By car: Drive down towards Namkhana and continue to Shibrampur. Leave the city by 5 am if you want to start shooting the same evening in good light.
By bus: Board from Esplanade and get down at the Rajnagar Biswambhar High School stop. From there the property sits about 2 km away, an easy toto ride.
By train: Take a Sealdah to Namkhana train, which takes about 2.5 hours. From Namkhana we sit 14 km away. A car covers it in around 15 minutes and a toto takes about 40 minutes.

November to February gives you the best conditions. Cool air, low humidity, clear light and morning mist over the fields. Heavy outfits and full makeup survive the day. This is also peak season, so book early.
October and March still work well, though afternoons warm up.
April to June turns harsh. If you must shoot then, restrict yourself to 5 am to 8 am and 5 pm to sunset.
Monsoon brings dramatic skies and rich green fields, which some photographers love, but you gamble with the weather and the paths get muddy.
